You need a free Cora account to submit reports, vote, and comment. You can create one in under a minute using an email address and password, or by signing in with your existing Google account. Once your account is active, use the same method to log in each time. If you ever forget your password, Cora can send you a reset link by email.

Create your account

1

Open the sign-up page

Go to /pages/signup, or open /pages/login and use Sign-up here in the footer. The header shows Sign In when logged out.
2

Fill in the form

Enter the following details:
  • Username — the name other members will see. Must be unique.
  • Email — a valid email address you can access.
  • Password — enter a password, then re-enter the same password in Confirm Password. The Sign up button stays disabled until both fields match.
3

Complete the security check

A Cloudflare security check appears at the bottom of the form. Complete it before clicking Sign up.
4

Check your inbox

After submitting, Cora sends a confirmation link to the email address you provided. Open the email and click the link to activate your account. You will not be able to sign in until you confirm your email.
Your username must be at least 3 characters long. Usernames are unique — if the one you want is taken, you will see an error and can try a different one.

Open /pages/login, enter your email and password, then click Login. Use the show/hide toggle next to the password field if you want to confirm what you are typing.

Reset your password

If you forget your password, you can request a reset link by email.
1

Go to the forgot password page

On the Log In page, click Forgot Password? below the password field.
2

Enter your email

Type in the email address associated with your Cora account and click Send Email.
3

Open the reset link

Check your inbox for an email from Cora. Click the link inside — it will take you to the password reset page.
4

Set a new password

Enter your new password, confirm it in the second field, then click Reset Password. Once complete, you will be redirected to the login page and can sign in with your new password.
Cora sends the reset email regardless of whether the address is registered, so you will not see a confirmation that the email exists. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder or try again.
